Hi Nick,

Our main idea is to design, construct and update a website targeting a young audience to make them more aware of political issue and debates, with the ability to download pod casts from the website. The pod casts will be aimed at the young people of Britain (16 – 25), encouraging young British citizens to be more involved and have a greater awareness of the country they live in and the politics which will affect them now and in the future.

Radio is a medium which would be useful at attracting young people to become more involved in politics, as stations can have very specific audiences, whereas mediums such as Television have a variety of people watching. Radio is also easily accessible through the traditional methods, but also newer ways such as on the internet and on mobile phones.
My proposed show aims to provide a service for young people all over the country and from various backgrounds.
